We have had many development projects for both retail and industrial businesses in Alta. An example is Gull Wing Industries, Inc. (pictured) which was founded in Alta in 1978 as a small electrical contractor. Today, they have grown to fifteen full-time and nine part-time employees. Their products are sold nationwide and in Canada and Mexico. Gull Wing was recently named Local Small Business of the Year and was the 2002 First Runner-Up for the District Small Business Person of the Year. They are just one example of many successful businesses here in Alta.
